David Van Kooten

David joined the District Office Team in May 2026 as Church Development & Communications Administrator, supporting church development initiatives, governance and charitable applications, board training, and PEAK coaching coordination. He also oversees district-wide communications, bringing his strengths in writing and editing to the district’s various platforms.

Dave and his wife have two young boys who bring joy and adventure to family life. Together they love spending time outdoors. Dave also enjoys studying God’s Word, reading novels, and woodworking—especially projects involving his table saw or lathe.
