The Alliance Canada The Alliance Canada is deeply rooted in a historical commitment to partner together to reach the unreached around the globe. These are often places where it is more challenging to enter and maintain a Christian presence. As workers are deployed to these “Hard & Dark” contexts they do so employing 3 strategic ministries focuses:

Church Development

Relief & Development

Marketplace

As you consider partnering with Jesus in the hard and dark places here are a few next steps to explore:

Pray strategically for our International Workers and the people groups whom they endeavour to reach and ask the Holy Spirit “Whom or where have you placed on our hearts to partner with and support?” As you have been challenged to also consider how Jesus may be preparing you to impact your Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, how might He be opening doors for you to double your missional engagement through partnership with Alliance ministries to the “Ends of the Earth”?

Subscribe to the Global Update mailing list and pray regularly in personal and corporate settings for the requests from our IWs each week.

Steward  finances strategically and sacrificially by giving faithfully to the Global Advance Fund. Consider how you are communicating this commitment to support Alliance Missions regularly with your congregation, and carefully review annual budgets and distribution of income with a goal to give priority to supporting Alliance Missions on an annual basis.

If your church has yet to identify a strategic and intentional partnership with an International Worker or couple, we encourage you to consider setting up a Seamless Link Covenant to elevate your congregation’s interest, engagement and participation in support of the ministries of at least one of our IWs.

Create spaces of discovery & discernment for Leaders and be intentional about educating and calling your children, youth, and adults into vocational ministry and mission. Educate and disciple adults in the workforce in what it means to be salt & light in the workplace, and communicate opportunities for professionals to serve alongside our international teams bringing Jesus to coworkers who might otherwise not have the opportunity to hear about Jesus.

If someone in your congregation or sphere of interest is sensing a call to cross-cultural ministry please encourage and facilitate opportunities for them to explore this calling by taking a trip, doing an internship or gap year program (for young adult students). Connect with your district Missions Mobilizer, Ilana Lobbezoo, to discuss appropriate educational and ministry opportunity next steps.

Consider inviting your high schoolers and their leaders to join our collaborative district Global Outreach Trips 2026, in partnership with Envision Inca Link. This is an opportunity for youth to serve and explore how God is working in locations in Central and South America.
