New Ventures Apprenticeships

New Venture Apprenticeships are for people with a heart for ministry who need time and space to discern their next steps.

Whether you’re in a season of transition or finding a first fit in vocational ministry, an unhurried season of listening and learning can be a helpful tool in your discernment journey. At New Ventures, our heart is to provide this space through customized Apprenticeships that help individuals determine vocational clarity through three key questions:

1

Who is God calling me to be?

2

Where and to whom?

3

What is he asking me to do?

We work with each participant to create a customized plan that helps them stay focused on Jesus, as he is the person they are apprenticing with! As His Body, churches and other followers of Jesus are invited to partner with apprentices providing mentorship and various learning opportunities.

Every apprenticeship is unique, however, we anchor each person’s experience around the Pursue Clarity Retreat which includes all NV Apprentices from across the country spread across 5 retreat locations.

At the end of an Apprenticeship, an individual may choose to launch a New Venture, however this is not our "end goal" in offering Apprenticeships. Our hope—through the process of both discernment and development—is that leaders in various stages of life will be able to confidently walk into their next phase of ministry because of the clarity they achieve. For many, this will involve stepping out and doing something new in Jesus' name.
